Earth Day 2017 is coming up on Satuarday, April 22nd, 2017. How do you plan to celebrate?
One of today's tips was to "Plant A Tree". Debbie and Ron mentioned that you can get 10 free trees from the Arbor Day Foundation.
It's true....but after talking about it on-air, we realized that it WASN'T 100% FREE. (We are sorry! It's live radio....)
Full disclosure...we got the info from the local magazine, Radish. After reading it on the air, Debbie decided to double check. It turns out there is a bit of a caveat.
It is possible to get 10 FREE TREES...but that comes with a $10 membership to the The Arbor Day Foundation. We feel like this is still a good deal (at $1 per tree)....but we wanted to set the record straight!
