Eat more carrots and tomatoes. In a study published in the journal Evolution and Human Behavior, researchers found that a diet rich in carrots and tomatoes could produce a brighter skin glow than repeated UV exposure. Both get their color from antioxidants called carotenoids, which pass their color along to you when you eat them.
