Today's Mississippi Valley Fair FREE Fun Card Fact conjurs up an unfortunate memory from the history of the fair.

As you may recall, on Tuesday, August 2nd, 2005, a special-needs man fell out of a ferris wheel car while it was operating and the entire incident was captured on live television as KWQC-TV6 was doing a weather forecast from the event. Thankfully, the man---rescued by six workers from Evans United Rides after dropping between the wheel's spokes---was not seriously injured.
