Hold off on that box of chocolates: What working moms really want for Mother's Day is more time to be moms. That's according to a recent analysis of federal government data, conducted by the Pew Research Center.
Here's one example: San Diego mother, Marisa Mauer, who works in staffing, says it's not even about her – “I would give anything to spend all day long with my son if I could.”
Some 70-percent of mothers do paid work. And they don't mind it. As a matter of fact, they'd rather keep it that way, but just have some more time with the kids. Another Pew research study finds that moms are having trouble finding a balance between being a worker and a mother. So guys, take some time and give your special woman the time she needs to be a happy mom.
