As Gossip Cop reported, the season 12 “AGT” finals took place on Tuesday with the 10 finalists performing live during the two-hour broadcast. Hale, singing “Symphony,” was actually the first act to take the stage. At 10 years old, she is this year’s youngest remaining contestant, but she already comes off like a seasoned performer. All of the judges gave a standing ovation, with music mogul Simon Cowell saying afterward, “I’m actually gobsmacked, because you really are in it to win it, aren’t you.” He went on to compare her start to that of former child stars Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake, and added, “We may be sooner rather than later looking back on this performance to say this is the moment your career started.”

For her final chance to win America’s votes, Kechi sang “Conqueror.” She, too, had Cowell and the rest of the judges on their feet. Heidi Klum told the inspiring plane crash survivor that after five years as a panelist for the NBC talent competition, “I’ve seen a lot of people come and go, but you I will never forget.” Cowell also noted, “You’ve become an artist, not a contestant.” Following the broadcast, “Conqueror” singer Estelle tweeted, “Great Job. Such a courageous story…God is Good!”

Now both aspiring stars had the opportunity to perform with a Grammy winner who started on a reality show herself. Kechi tweeted on Wednesday afternoon, “Guess which 2 acts are singin w/ the aMAzing talent show pioneer @kelly_clarkson on @AGT tonite!! Yup: @angelicahale and yours truly!!” Hale also posted, “2nite’s about having fun & that’s what’s happening when @Kechi & I take the stage & perform w/the AMAZING @kelly_clarkson! #AGTFinale #AGT.”

Though she began her career as the inaugural winner on FOX’s “American Idol,” Clarkson is officially part of the NBC family now that she’s signed on to be a coach on “The Voice” next year. And in addition to “Stronger,” she now performed her new single “Love So Soft.” Check out the full video above!
