Billie Lourd has honored her late “momby”Carrie Fisher on what would’ve been the actress’ 63rd birthday. In a sweet tribute posted to Instagram, the “American Horror Story” star has marked the occasion by singing one of Fisher’s favorite songs, “American Girl” by Tom Petty.
“Not that I’m some kind of grief expert by any means, but on milestones like this, I like to celebrate her by doing things that she loved to do,” Lourd writes in the caption. “So here’s a little video of me singing one of her favorite songs in one of her favorite places (her bathtub of course).”
This isn’t the first time Lourd has honored her late mother’s memory with music.As you may recall, she posted a video singingJackson Browne’s“These Days” on the second anniversary of Fisher’s death last year.
