The City of Davenport has decided to host a fireworks display on July 3 to celebrate Independence Day.
Officials said in a media release today that city and staff responded to the community’s outcry for fireworks event afterRed, White, and Boomwas canceled earlier this year due to concerns over the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). The event, dubbed “Davenport’s Star Spangled Extravaganza,” will begin at 9:30 p.m. July 3 along the downtown riverfront.
