When asked to grade President Donald Trump’s first year in office, more American voters chose “F” than any other grade, according to a new Quinnipiac Poll*.
Thirty-nine percent of voters gave Trump an “F,” followed by 17 percent who chose “D.” “A” and “B” received 16 percent each with 11 percent giving Trump a “C.”
Trump’s current approval rating is at 36 percent, the same approval rating he had on Jan. 26 in Quinnipiac’s first poll after his inauguration.
Also in the poll:
Voters said by a margin of 69-28 percent that Trump is not level-headed and 57 percent of voters said he is not fit to serve as president. When asked if Trump is honest, 63 percent said he is not.
On two other qualities, whether Trump is intelligent or strong, voters agreed that he is both.
*How many people were polled? Quinnipiac surveyed 1,106 voters from Jan. 5-9 with a margin of error of plus or minus 3.6 percentage points.
