An employee at the Huntington Beach Whole Foods in the Bella Terra mall has tested positive for coronavirus and is currently being quarantined. Fellow employees at the store received the news of the infection from a robocall on Tuesday night (3/24) and that was the last time the unidentified infected employee worked. The recorded message said,

"We are working to identify any team member who may have had prolonged contact with the diagnosed team member and will communicate with them individually."

The Whole Foods location remains open as the government protocols for stores with infected employees is unclear. Assistant store manager Danny Garro said the store continues to clean daily more rigorously and sanitizing practices are in place. An emailed statement from Whole Foods said since the news about the employee, “an additional cleaning and disinfection has been performed.” Store managers haven't disclosed which department the infected employee worked in. The FDA has only directed to quarantine the employee, maintain the confidentiality of the individual and inform fellow employees.

What do you think about this? Do you think the store should be shut down?
