Disneyland Isn't Refunding Coronavirus Tickets But You Can Still Use Them!

While the Disneyland Resort has temporarily closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, the company will not refund tickets that were purchased for dates during the closure. The theme park closed on March 14th and currently doesn't have a reopening date, but they are taking reservations starting on June 1st. According to Disneyland's website, single-day and multi-day tickets can still be used for a future visit through the end of their validity period. If you have a promotional ticket as a Southern California resident, it will be extended on a day-to-day basis for each day the park is closed. The expiration date for promotional child tickets have been extended to Dec. 15, 2020, or 13 days after the ticket's first use, whichever comes first. Military Salute tickets will expire on Dec. 18, 2020 and can be used on non-consecutive days.

If you have a ticket for the Walt Disney World Resort, those can also be used on any date through Dec. 15, 2020. If you haven't used the ticket by then, it can be used toward the purchase of a future ticket. Both the Disneyland Resort and the Walt Disneyland Resort is waiving all Disney-imposed change and cancellation fees for vacation packages that had planned arrivals through June 30th.
