Kraft Macaroni and Cheese has decided to change its name after 85 years. The brand is now calling it Kraft Mac & Cheese because it's "meant to reflect the way fans organically talk about the brand." The packaging with the new name will hit store shelves in August. Along with the shortened name, the new packaging will also feature a refreshed logo, typography and single-hue blue that "amplifies the brand's most recognizable asset - the noodle smile." According to Kraft, the new name and box are part of an effort to rebrand its mac & cheese as "comfort food."
