SCAM ALERT: Scammers pretending to be Genesis Health System
(KWQC) - In a statement from Genesis Health System, officials announced a possible scam circulating across the country.
Genesis officials say an email is received claiming to be someone representing Genesis. The email suggests the patients medical records have been lost and a social security number is needed to restore the records.
These emails are not coming from Genesis. If you receive one, do not respond and do not share any personal information.
