Selena Gomez revealed that she once made Taylor Swift cry by letting her be among the first to hear one of her biggest hits.
In a new interview with iHeartRadio, Gomez reflected on the time she played her song "Lose You to Love Me," from her 2020 album Rare, for her longtime friend as well as her mother Andrea Swift, and the ballad was so powerful it left both of them feeling emotional.
"When I played her 'Lose You to Love Me' before it came out, she and her amazing mom started crying and then I started crying. You know, it's very sweet," she said.
The Rare Beauty founder added how she also enjoys Swift's feedback and musical advice because she "[likes] to see what she thinks" and that the "Fortnight" singer has done the same for her.
"I value her opinion so much, because she's super honest," she said, adding, "She definitely will say, 'That one's okay, but I think that one's good.' It's just very helpful and I love people who are honest."
Swift has continued to show support for her pal's music, most recently celebrating Gomez's latest album I Said I Love You First, her collaborative project with fiancé Benny Blanco.
"I LOVE THIS ALBUM SO MUCH OH MY GODDDDDDDDDDDD," she excited shared on her Instagram Stories after the album's release earlier this month.
