Selena Gomez is showing support for her "bestie" Taylor Swift following news of her engagement to Travis Kelce.
The I Said I Love You First singer reacted to the Midnights musician getting engaged to the Kansas City Chiefs tight end in the sweetest way, resharing a photo to her Instagram Stories from the couple's announcement, per Page Six. The pic captured Kelce down on one knee with a ring box in his hand while Swift held his face, the pair of them surrounded by flowers for the romantic proposal.
"When bestie gets engaged 🥰" Gomez wrote atop a photo and adding Queen's hit "You're My Best Friend" to the post.
Swift and Kelce announced on Tuesday (August 26) that they got engaged after two years of dating, sharing a look at the garden proposal as well as her new diamond ring. The NFL player's father Ed Kelce later revealed additional details about what went on behind-the-scenes, including how long the couple have actually been engaged.
Gomez isn't Swift's only pal who has reacted to her exciting news, People reports. Artists like Gracie Abrams and Swift's The Life of a Showgirl collaborator Sabrina Carpenter have sent well-wishes and even her ex-boyfriend Taylor Lautner showed his support for the couple following the announcement.
The Rare Beauty founder got her own magical proposal last year when her now-fiancé Benny Blanco popped the question after a year of dating. They have since shared details about the future wedding day, from the tradition they want to skip to the odd "dessert" she would like on the big day.
