The coronavirus pandemic has forced many schools do either district learning or hybrid learning where students are learning both online and in-person. However, Los Angeles County just announced that the in-person capacity will increase to 25% as high-need and English-learning students will return back to school. Four Los Angeles County schools were also approved this week for waivers to allow students in pre-kindergarten through second grade to return to campus. As of right now, nearly 35,000 students and nearly 20,000 teachers and staff are back in schools throughout the county.
