Midwest Technical Institute (MTI) is proud to partner with Black Hawk College (BHC) to offer graduates the opportunity to transfer credits earned at MTI toward an associate-level degree from BHC.
The partnership provides a seamless transition for MTI graduates to advance their education and employment opportunities by earning an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree from BHC.
Through the partnership, BHC accepts credits from select MTI certificates toward an AAS degree in Health Information Management or General Occupational and Technical Studies (GOTS), including:
- Medical Assisting
- Medical Coding
- Dental Assisting
- Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVAC/R)
- Journeyman Welder
- Journeyman Welder II
- Pharmacy Technician
MTI graduates who are interested in learning more about Black Hawk College and the partnership are invited to attend the Open House on Wednesday, June 15th, 2022, from 2pm-5pm in the Upper Lobby of Building 1 at Black Hawk College located at 6600 34th Ave, Moline, IL 61265.
Representatives from both MTI and Black Hawk will be available to answer questions and share next steps!
